The attached packaging builds the molmol molecular modeling software identically
to as on fink. The resulting molmol binaries reveals a bug in the X11 packages of
MacPorts where the widgets are not displayed for the molmol windows. This behavior
has been also reproduced for a manual build of molmol in /usr/local for MacPorts. A
manual build in /usr/local against fink shows no problem so there must be a flaw in
either the MacPorts X11 packages or (less likely) openmotif or glw.

Hurrah. The latest batch of updates for X windows in MacPorts has solved the problems with molmol.
Can we get the molmol packaging into MacPorts now?
