Description

This is a portfile that installs two binaries: luatex and texlua (which is a hard link to luatex). LuaTeX is the successor to pdftex, but still in beta phase. This port is not a full fledged TeX installation, it creates only these two binaries, nothing more. That means you have to generate the formats yourself (etc.)

LuaTeX is a typesetting system based on PDFTeX (which is based on TeX from 30 years ago). Homepage is ​http://luatex.org.
