I have been googling a lot, but no success!
$port install freetype ---> Computing dependencies for freetype ---> Activating freetype @2.3.9_1+macosx Error: Unable to execute port: Image error: /opt/local/lib/libfreetype.6.dylib already exists and does not belong to a registered port. Unable to activate port freetype.
Any idea? Thanks very much in advance!
(I attach the output of $port -d build freetype)

It looks like something got messed up with your install. You need to either delete or move the file and try again, or simply force the install.
sudo port -f activate freetype
