Description
The atlas port seems to be very fragile, and does not seem to be actively supported, at least on Tiger/PPC.
A no-atlas variant for the GIMP, if the GIMP build infrastructure supports it, would allow such hosts to upgrade the GIMP, and revert to using atlas when (of if) it is fixed.

py25-numpy appears to be the only port in gimp2's dependency tree that depends on atlas, and it already has a no_atlas variant.
