Description
qtoctave 0.8.2 came out a while ago. This actually solves many problems for me.

It doesn't seem to need either the current patches as cmakelist.diff involves code that no longer exists and mainwindow.diff seems to have been incorporated into the code.

I just selfupdated and installed octave and qtoctave-mac. The Octave Terminal in qtoctave produces this error along with each command:
error: `variables' undefined near line ... column ...
Research suggests that this is a qtoctave/octave version compatibility issue between the current versions of octave and qtoctave in MacPorts, and that updating qtoctave would fix this.

I apologize for being late but I've been kept back by the atlas bug that prevented me from testing the Portfile, I hoped it could be solved in last weeks. Now I've tested the Portfile commenting out library dependencies thus using 'octave @3.2.3_0+gcc43' and 'qt4-mac @4.5.3_0' that I've installed at the moment.
Commited in r63215 .
