Description
---> Activating XFree86 port activate failed: Image error: /private/etc/fonts/fonts.conf already exists and does not belong to a registered port. Unable to activate port XFree86.
The fonts.conf file is standard on MacOS. Just because it is not part of a registered port, does not mean that it cannot be changed. The file explcitly states that subsequent XFree86 installations may change the file.

There are a number of XFree86 tickets now and we aren't using hte MacPorts one anymore. Though it needs to be fixed there are other tickets on it.
