A few quick notes from looking at it:

  • The epoch line should be removed.
  • I'm not sure who you mean by "tbd" for the maintainer. I assume nomaintainer.
  • The description field has a few minor spelling errors that should be fixed. Also the ending of the long_description looks suspect - "and version, ls".
