In the future, if you have copied an existing portfile to create your new portfile, please indicate what that parent portfile is. In this case, I believe you've based your py27-sip portfile on the py26-sip portfile, which is a fine choice.
Remember to fill in the Port field in this issue tracker, and note that "openmaintainer" by itself is not a valid maintainer; if you're not listing anything in addition to "openmaintainer", then you should instead list "nomaintainer". See the guide.

I've committed the new port in r70969, except that it's at version 4.10.5 now.
