I installed octave from the octave port, then I tried to install the qtoctave-mac and it isn't compatible with octave:
Error: Cannot install qtoctave-mac for the arch(s) 'i386 x86_64' because Error: its dependency octave is only installed for the arch 'x86_64' Error: and does not have a universal variant. Install qtoctave-mac without +universal variant, to get further info attach full -d output.
I'm closing this ticket. Notice that as of now qtoctave-mac is broken as per #27264, reopen only if you get the same issue with architecture mismatch.
