Committed in r78133 with these changes:
- Reformatting, whitespace, modeline
- Removed "revision 1" line
- Removed "categories perl" line
- Fixed maintainers line
- Removed md5 checksum
- Removed "supported_archs noarch" line -- this port does install architecture-specific files
- Added "use_parallel_build no" because I had intermittent failures building the port otherwise
