Installation hangs after installing py26-scipy

Reported by: johncumbers@… Owned by: skymoo (Adam Mercer)
Priority: Normal Milestone:
Component: ports Version: 2.0.3
Keywords: Cc:
Port: py26-scipy

Description (last modified by ryandesign (Ryan Carsten Schmidt))

I am using Macports 2.0.3 on OS X Lion, after running sudo port -v install py26-scipy, the install gets part way through and then hangs, please see text below. Eventually I get a "startup disk full" error, so I presume it is creating a huge temporary file somewhere.

Are you sure your ports are up to date? This sounds like what was fixed in #31604.

OP reported on list that updating ports tree fixed the problem.
