Description
I am attaching a new Portfile for NOVAS_Py, the Python edition of the US Naval Observatory's positional astronomy observatory. It is used for calculating positions of stars and solar system bodies with extreme precision.

The stub port won't work like that; the variant and the patchfile should be inside the name != subport section.

I've been working with Leo offline on a this, Leo is the main person behind this port but I have no objections being listed.
