Description
The current MapServer version is 6.0.3, but the currently available MapServer port is 5.2.

see also #30250 where I had attached an updated portfile for 6.0.x. I had also proposed to become a maintainer for the mapserver port, but due to the lack of interest on both fronts have now given up on macports.

Updated to 6.0.3 in r96046, maintainer timeout and port abandoned #35424.
vince I added myself to quickly commit the (inevitable) next fixes to errors but I'm really not into GIS, are you interested in being maintainer instead?
Thomas I didn't add you as maintainer as you wrote here that you gave up on macports, should you change your mind let us know, an active maintainer (hopefully someone who actually uses the software) is always welcome.
