Description
Waqar Malik (MacPorts handle "waqar") has not committed to the MacPorts repository since May 20, 2008, (cia.vc) nor responded to the tickets that are assigned to him.
On August 26, 2010, I sent private mail to Waqar asking if he was still interested in MacPorts, and he replied that he had been busy with work and would try to update his ports and would reduce the number of ports he maintains. But since that didn't happen, on January 19, 2011, I informed him that I had marked his ports as openmaintainer (r75257). To managers: this thread can be found in the macports-mgr mailing list archives.
Since Waqar appears to have left us for good, unless there are any objections by June 15, 2012, I will remove his handle from all ports he currently maintains, unassign his tickets, and move his handle to the retired maintainers section of the MacPortsDevelopers wiki page.
