Since the tag on github starts with the letter 'v', you should add a 'v' at the end of the github.setup line as the optional argument (take a look in _resources/port1.0/groups/github.1.0.tcl)

Strangely enough, your checksums are wrong for me. Could you recheck them?

Since the python portgroup already adds this port to the python category, we prefer to append the other categories.

categories-append science

I'm sorry. I think that I made the mistake of assuming that the checksums would be the same for the two methods of fetching (from PyPi or from github). I will attach the updated Portfile, which I have just retested.

Oh, this is awkward. Apparently I forgot about this ticket and commited the portfile in r111378 without closing it. Sorry for the delay!

Smithsp, would you take maintainership of the port?

Yes, per my macports-dev email this morning, I can take maintainership (with openmaintainer).

Note: See TracTickets for help on using tickets.
