While it's true that I did all the recent changes in the port (wxWidgets-related changes couldn't wait forever for owners of the different ports), this is still afb's port. Shouldn't he be the owner of this ticket?

I didn't know that. I don't feel comfortable maintaining Code::Blocks, one particular problem is that there are some patches there for which I have no clue what they do. But I'll fix this one and then see what to do about the future of this port. Any volunteer for this port is welcome.

One tiny request (for Ryan?) then: can you please take a look at #40391 and help me verify which ones are true dependencies of Code::Blocks (for wxgtk-2.8)? I'm still not 100% sure how to properly rebuild all ports to get rid of fake dependencies and it would probably take me more than the whole day anyway.

Thanks. You could always set the port to nomaintainer if you don't want it.

I'll see how things develop, but it's certainly a problem to be a maintainer without ever even using the port. On top of that I just realized that I accidentally assigned a bunch of codeblocks-related tickets to jwa instead of afb. And Jyrki never complained. Probably because I assigned so many tickets to him already that it was hard for him to spot false positives ;)

I'll nevertheless try to close a few tickets now and then probably remove myself as a maintainer.

Committed (with some differences) in r111287. I hope that it still compiles after removing a bunch of other ports.
