Please, try to deactivate old dynd before installing:

sudo port -f deactivate dynd

I tried that but it didn't make any difference.

Do you have any .h files in ${prefix}/include/dynd folder?

comment:5 Changed 10 years ago by watsodw

There are a bunch of .hpp files there.

So, this is the problem with headers from previous version of libdynd. Please, try to uninstall previous libdynd port first.

Thanks, that worked.

Summary: Upgrade or install of libdynd failslibdynd @0.6.0: Install fails when previous version is active

This tells us that the build system puts the -I flags in the wrong order. If this is still a problem with the latest version, it should be fixed.
