Description

I'm constantly getting this error: "Error: org.macports.build for port gtk2 returned: command execution failed" when trying to install gtk2 with macports on OS X Mavericks. I'm attaching the log file.

This is an incomplete log; please ​clean and try again.

If the new log also contains the error message in the current log, which is: 

:info:build dyld: Library not loaded: /opt/local/lib/libexpat.1.dylib
:info:build   Referenced from: /opt/local/lib/libfontconfig.1.dylib
:info:build   Reason: Incompatible library version: libfontconfig.1.dylib requires version 8.0.0 or later, but libexpat.1.dylib provides version 7.0.0

then please read ProblemHotlist#libiconv-version, except where it refers to libiconv, substitute expat.

I did the clean procedure before trying to install the port. Anyway, I have attached the new log. I hope it helps.

It helps confirm that the same problem does occur on a clean build, so you should read the problem hotlist entry I linked to in my previous response.

I don't even remember, I stopped using MacPorts and switched to Homebrew
