This looks like a texinfo5 issue, which is probably because this port is outdated: #31578

Also, has duplicate #44093

The ports seems to build fine on the buildbot at the moment.

I would be grateful for further feedback & whether or not this is still a problem for you.

Then again I would be in favour of removing this port, you can install i686-w64-mingw32-binutils now.

Latest commit with an update to 2.25.1 in ed25e98e. Please reopen if this is still causing problems.
