Greg,

lambda & lamed from teTeX 3.0 foolishly don't do french hyphenation. The following patch fixes the problem.

Greg, while you're at it, could you please add:

system "mktexlsr" system "updmap-sys"

to post-activation script?

This would make a teX upgrade work after additions in texmf-local/

Hi Paul,

I'll add these changes when I finish testing my fix for sed pattern space overflows (which can break installations in other than the default directory).

Patch applied, although not quite as suggested. (Apply patch in the post-extract phase; This leave the patch phase available for future patches of the main distribution.)
