ncarg cannot fetch

I downloaded and put ncl_ncarg-6.2.1.tar.gz in car directory without success

If you followed the instructions in the error message—"Download ncl_ncarg-6.2.1.tar.gz manually and place it in /Volumes/Cluster/opt/local/var/macports/distfiles/ncarg"—the problem should go away. Could you show us the output of this command:

ls -l /Volumes/Cluster/opt/local/var/macports/distfiles/ncarg

I downloaded the filename ncl_ncarg-6.2.1.MacOS_10.9_64bit_gcc481.tar.gz, then renamed it as per the instructions

(wd now: /Volumes/Cluster/opt/local/var/macports/distfiles/ncarg)
