Description (last modified by ryandesign (Ryan Carsten Schmidt))

Hi,

when running

port upgrade outdated (after a selfupdate) I have the following error message:

Error: org.macports.build for port clang-3.4 returned: command execution failed

and the log of the error is attached to this email. Is this something known?

Thanks!

Fab

Interesting: the log says

ld: library not found for -lc++

I thought this only happened with Xcode 7, but the log seems to show you're on OS X 10.9, with which Xcode 7 is not compatible. What version of Xcode do you have? What variant of the cctools and ld64 ports do you have installed?

Hi,

thanks for replying. I have XCode 7.0.1 and I run El Capitan (10.11). Not sure why it says I have 10.9, though, and don't know how to check. Any suggestion?

Thanks!

Fab

I would clean and re-try; maybe you had some leftovers from a build of clang 3.4 with the previous OS?
