libgpod: error renaming python2.7: no such file or directory

Trying to install latest version of libgpod with a fresh install of macports and received the following error:

    /opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_tarballs_ports_multimedia_libgpod/libgpod/main.log

Found a closed ticket from 19 months ago ticket number #42874, followed instructions

sudo port clean libgpod
sudo port selfupdate
sudo port install libgpod

I am still getting the error.
