Description
If I try to install auctex, DarwinPorts always tries to install emacs (although I have emacs-devel installed) since auctex depends on emacs. Auctex should depend on emacs *or* emacs-devel

I checked this again, emacs-devel +carbon does install an emacs binary under /opt/local/bin/emacs-22.0.50, but since there's an +devel variant for auctex too now, I think this bug can be closed. :-)

Isn't the emacs-devel package that could be fixed to install an emacs binary ?
A much better solution would be to have a port group for all emacs related packages, providing variables like $emacsbin, and $emacslispdir to help packages support emacs, emacs-devel or even xemacs,\with code to expresse declaratively the dependencirs over emacs ?
