Description
Each time I try to open a PNG file, I get the following error:
Plug-in crashed: "file-png" (/opt/local/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins/file-png/file-png) The dying plug-in may have messed up GIMP's internal state. You may want to save your images and restart GIMP to be on the safe side. Opening '/Users/timothyserrano/Documents/my-file.png' failed: Procedure 'file-png-load' returned no return values
xcf, jpg, and other file types will not open as well.
Please help!

This problem happens for me as well (on Monterey x86_64). Any ideas, Chris?
