Description

Hi,

First of all, this should be assigned to mww -at- opendarwin.org (the maintainer of py-rdflib), but I that field is grayed out, so I put it on the cc.

I noticed that DarwinPorts currently installs version 2.0.4 of RDFlib, a Python library to parse RDF files. The latest version is 2.3.1 (although http://rdflib.net/latest/ still directs to 2.3.0 ;-) ). I'll attach both a new Portfile as well as my installation log. It showed no errors for me, on Mac OS X. The changes are little: changed version (doh), changed extension .tgz to .tar.gz, changed md5 checksum, and finally removed a few files from the post-destroot function. The post-destroot function does install the documentation, but version 2.3.x does not come with the doc directory anymore. Instead, people are pointed to the website in the README file.

Finally: the developers claim 2.2.5 is the latest stable release. I personally think 2.3.1 is rather stable as well, so I personally use that. However, I could not find a definative word about the policy of Darwinports on which version to prefer (stable release, latest point releases or even CVS/SVN). I think point releases are preferred.

Regards, Freek

exquisit, thanks & commited - next time though please submit a diff (`diff -u Portfile newPortfile'); also, now you should have powers to edit bugs and be able to assign them to ppl;
