xmaxima error on launch and crash on file read — at Initial Version

Description
When I launch xmaxima, I see the following error: 2008-01-02 14:00:35.967 Wish Shell[6594] CFLog (21): Error loading /System/Library/ScriptingAdditions/Digital Hub Scripting.osax/Contents/MacOS/Digital Hub Scripting: error code 4, error number 0 (Symbol not found: cg_png_destroy_write_struct

Maxima functions fine, until I try to use the batch command in the file menu, when the Wish shell crashes. Here is a report from the Apple crash reporter:
