Goffice fails to build while installing gnucash — at Initial Version

Description
I am attempting to install gnucash in native quartz environment (no X11) and dependency, goffice fails to build in the process. I am building on MacOSX version 10.5.6, on Macbook with 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo. I get the following: make[5]: * [foo-canvas-rect-ellipse.lo] Error 1 make[4]: * [all] Error 2 make[3]: * [all-recursive] Error 1 make[2]: * [all-recursive] Error 1 make[1]: * [all] Error 2 make: * [all-recursive] Error 1
