Could be either a corrupt download or a bad server; did you happen to notice from which server it downloaded? If not, run 

sudo port clean --all libgnomeui
sudo port selfupdate
sudo port -d checksum libgnomeui

If the checksum command fails again, can you attach the output from that here? The selfupdate is to get the latest update to gnome mirrors, as I removed a few out of date ones in r48170.

If checksum succeeds, then you should be able to install fine.
