Seems to be fine here. Where did this bad file come from? How large is it? Did you try cleaning and trying again? 

sudo port clean --all leptonica
sudo port install leptonica

    11I recently upgraded to Mountain Lion, then upgraded to latest version of MacPorts for Mountain Lion.  I started the process of upgrading all installed ports but ran into a checksum error on the leptonica port:
