    79If I just run gimp from the command line is seems to work fine.  I see that the only directory in GIMP.app/Contents/Resources/share is themes.  So, it seems that there is something in the gimp-app script that is looking for a file that doesn't exist.  But, gimp from the command line does find an appropriate menu.  I do see that gimp2 contents includes this: /opt/local/share/gimp/2.0/menus/image-menu.xml
