Tried installing kile using "sudo port install kile". It worked fine till configuring kile but gave an error message while building kile. The error was:

--->  Configuring kile
--->  Building kile
Error: org.macports.build for port kile returned: command execution failed
Please see the log file for port kile for details:
    /opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_tarballs_ports_tex_kile/kile/main.log

Error: Processing of port kile failed

The log file is attached.

Is there an alternative way to install kile on Mac?

I got another build error while installing kile port.

$ sudo port install kile
--->  Computing dependencies for kile
--->  Building kile
Error: org.macports.build for port kile returned: command execution failed
Please see the log file for port kile for details:
    /opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_tarballs_ports_tex_kile/kile/main.log
