    3 This is still an issue on Snow Leopard - CMAKE_OSX_SYSROOT is set wrongly exactly the same way (pointing to /Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.8.sdk instead of  /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/MacOSX.platform/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.8.sdk/). I will try the approach above (I have no reason to believe it shouldn't work).
