    1 The problem is that your MacPorts installation uses `/usr/bin/gnutar` (which is not system-provided on Mavericks). I'm not sure how exactly you re-installed MacPorts after the upgrade and/or whether your modified your system so it has a `/usr/bin/gnutar` (which you shouldn't).

    33Please make sure `/usr/bin/gnutar` doesn't exist and run the MacPorts installer from the .pkg on the website again. Then, clean gmp and try again.
