gnucash 2.6.5 fails to configure — at Initial Version

Description
Gnucash installation stops at configuration after reporting that guile is required but not found. This is done even after I clean and install again. I am attaching main.log and config.log files
Guile is installed and active as reported by
$ port installed|grep guile guile18 @1.8.8_3 (active)
I recently upgraded to Mac OS X 10.10.1 and followed upgrade instructions from http://trac.macports.org/wiki/Migration
I have Xcode 6.1.1
Maybe related to ticket: 46270 although the error reported there is a little different.
