    77> BTW, `make check` only actually runs tests for the Qt subports; for poppler itself it does nothing. Maybe because GTk3 support is deactivated and thus no test executables are built?

    9 Yes, I was talking about the basic poppler build using --enable-gtk-tests.  These definitely use require gtk3 (see configure.ac for details).

    1111Building poppler-qt*-mac is something different.  Doesn't make much sense to test Qt wrappers with GTK+.
