Installing gimp-app stops with the following error message:

Error: org.macports.configure for port webkit-gtk-2.0 returned: Invalid value for configure.compiler: clang >= 300 <= 503

I attach the log file.

(Mac OS X 10.7.5, Xcode 4.6.3)

Jeremy, the compiler_blacklist_versions portgroup only implements compiler version number checking for the compiler.blacklist variable, not the compiler.whitelist variable. I haven't looked into whether the portgroup could be extended to handle that second variable as well...
