emacs-app @24.5 crashes when pressing Ctrl-Z

Reported by: bouttier__macports@… Owned by: drkp (Dan Ports)

Port: emacs-app

Description

Hi,

Under MacOS 10.11.5, when I press Ctrl-Z in Emacs, the window is first minimized (with the "genie effect") and then Emacs crashes. MacOS displays a crash report that is supposedly sent to Apple (but after several crashes it does not display it anymore, don't know how to make it reappear if it might be useful).

Please do not Cc openmaintainer@… because it is not a valid email address.

I am seeing the same behavior on Sierra. The crash report gives a little more info:

Application Specific Information:
*** Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInternalInconsistencyException',
reason: 'nextEventMatchingMask should only be called from the Main Thread!'
terminating with uncaught exception of type NSException
abort() called

Looks to me like this is fixed in 25.1; please reopen if you're still having problem.
