    33Everyone seems to have to manually force it off to build this, for years now, if gtk is installed at least, which it often is….

     5Edit - Looks like I have it installed both ways on my M1, both with and without the x11 variant. Will have to experiment a bit to see what gtk versions were or were not installed when I built it with x11 active, I guess:
