8	8	So - if I run across this kind of issue, it is very tempting to just add in the cxx11 1.1 PortGroup as step 1 of the process, and if that fixes it (which it almost always will), then you're done in 10 seconds + build time.

10		The only thing I might add to the cxx11 1.1 PortGroup is a blacklist on all clang versions < about clang-3.8 for the libc++ section -- and even there, it might be best to leave the stock clangs for 10.10 and up, and ~~force~~ everyone else onto clang-3.9.
