    22> FWIW, I looked around on a 10.13 machine and libarclite was x86_64-only there, too. I don't understand why it would have worked `+universal` on that platform. Maybe you didn't look correctly or didn't actually build it `+universal`?

    4 The build failures occurred on the buildbot, which was building gstreamer1-gst-plugins-base universal as a dependency of wine. You can see in the [https://packages.macports.org/gstreamer1-gst-plugins-base/gstreamer1-gst-plugins-base packages directory] that binaries didn't get produced with the universal for darwin 13 and 14.
