    1 And sure enough, when I go to /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/MacOSX.platform/Developer/SDKs/, the only SDK in that directory is for 10.14. I have no idea how that happened.

I have no idea how that happened. Xcode's version is 10.1, and apparently I should be running version 8.3.3 or 9.0. I'll see if I can download one of those. Good thing Apple makes it SO EASY to do so....
