Dear Developer!
I got error message when I was installing openmpi on MacBook Pro (Big Sur): 

ramchand@MacBook-Pro ~ % sudo port install openmpi
Password:
--->  Computing dependencies for openmpi
The following dependencies will be installed:  openmpi-default
Continue? [Y/n]: Y
--->  Building openmpi-default
Error: Failed to build openmpi-default: command execution failed
