    1 Thanks! Just to be clear, the problem is on Leopard. I successfully built Squid on Tiger last weekend, and it never tried to install libcxx. (I don't remember what it did use and now I've disposed of the VM, but it was probably gcc.)

    33Squid was not actually usable on Tiger due to very frequent crashes. But it did build.
