4		They certainly are, and I am perfectly fine if you don't want to take my advice. However, the Traceback you show tells you that the problem is with a Python package you have installed through {{{conda}}} and so this has likely nothing to do with MacPorts. We have seen many times that there ~~detrimental side-effects of using MacPorts / conda simultaneously~~ and the usual advice is to pick one package manager and stick with it.
