#65564 assigned defect

xorg-server-legacy segfaults on xterm invocation on mountain lion — at Version 2

Reported by: chaosesqueteam Owned by: jeremyhu (Jeremy Huddleston Sequoia)
Priority: Normal Milestone:
Component: ports Version: 2.7.2
Keywords: mountainlion Cc:
Port: xorg-server-legacy

Description (last modified by ryandesign (Ryan Carsten Schmidt))

On mountain-lion one may not, by fiat, install xorg-server. Thus one is then instructed to install xorg-server-legacy.

This installs but does not work. You run it, hoping to run all your xserver apps like NEdit. And then.

Nothing can get a screen anyway. So you're like "maybe I should just longboard or something"

You then pull up an xterm It segfaults.

Mountain Lion.
