    1 I upgraded all macports on 10.7, it worked fine apparently.

    33gimp 2.10.32 starts, seems even to work, but no labels, no text is displayed in the whole UI.
    4 I wonder if the issue could be gtk related instead of gimp.
     4The issue is related to pango and happens on 10.5, 10.6, 10.7
