    5 Building neovim from a Github release 0.9.4 worked for me.
     5Building neovim from a Github release 0.9.4 outside macports worked for me.

    77It was not fully straightforward when there was faffing around with options to make/cmake (-DLIBLUV_INCLUDE_DIR=/opt/local/include -DLIBLUV_LIBRARY=/opt/local/lib/libluv.dylib) but at least there is a working editor for me now
