    77I tried a PPC VM using qemu but ultra slow so mothballed it.

     9Edit: on my M1 MacBookPro, qemu PPC works much faster than on my last attempt with an Intel system. It's arguably usably fast now... the only thing so far is I can't get any sound out of the VM, but that's not a major hiccup.
