v288 v289 5 5 The new multi-platform KDE/CI system designed and implemented by Ben and Scarlett in her [http://scarlettgatelyclark.com/2015/kde-sok-project-final-update/ SOK project] has finally gone live as a [https://build.kde.org drop-in-replacing KDE's old Jenkins CI]. 6 6 7 However, in June 2015 it was decided to take down the OSX builders, since they had still a lot of vital dependencies on MacPorts ports in order to make KF5 frameworks and apps build. Such dependencies should not exists for proper CI. Right now KDE e.V. is in the process of acquiring Apple hardware to set up proper OSX builders near KDE's core infrastructure. Once that has finished things will proceed further w.r.t. KF5 on OSX, but for now we're at a halt there.7 However, in June 2015 it was decided to take down the OSX builders, since they had still a lot of vital dependencies on MacPorts ports in order to make KF5 frameworks and apps build.
